Planning-Film Pitch
A film pitch is a synopsis of your film with things like character mentions, location listings, relevant film ideas and why your movie should be chosen. Pitches are great because you are in the center with people who can fund or vouch for your film. Film producers engage audiences by creating characters with relatability. They also can show characters in hard situations that could further relate with the audience. You can recognize film conventions when you see the title of the film and the company.
Post-Production (3)
This will be my final blog post discussing the production of the film unfortunately. For the film we have begun to add the eerie sounds we planned on adding as seen in our storyboards and scripts. We have also started to add effects like zoom in and out and fade in and out for some scene we think will leave the audience surprised. We have also added the credits and production company logo to our film so we are basically done with the film. It has been a long and great journey working on the film.
Post-Production (2)
This week for post production we started editing on a software called iMovie. This application is on Apple devices and it has lots of resources that we can use in order to help edit our film. The device we’re using iMovie on is a MacBook because it has more desktop features. So far we have stitched all the videos we have recorded together. We will begin adding other things to our film later on in the week.
Post-Production(1)
Post production is the work done on a film after the recording portion has already been complete. Post production is used to cut footage, put together footage, adds sound effects, and visual effects. Post production is necessary because without it basically every film is incomplete. Without editing all of these clips together most movies would end up being a shell of what it was originally thought out to be. We will be starting post production this week. The reason why I showed many examples of what post production is was to show the importance of what we will be doing this week.
